The Town plans to replace the water storage tank at the corner of Kildaire Farm Road and Pleasants Avenue downtown with a larger tank in the same general area. The reasons are to reduce maintenance cost and increase storage capacity.

New Tank
Location - 400 Field St.
Capacity - 750,000 gallons
Design - Spheroid Elevated Water Tank
Construction Starts - February 2006
Construction Complete - September 2007
