Note: No construction on the sanitary sewer system can begin before a sewer extension permit has been obtained and all construction plans have been reviewed and approved by the Town of Cary.

You must request inspection on these items:

• Stone or concrete foundations for manholes and wet wells
• Drop manhole fittings and concrete encasement
• Any concrete encasements forms
• When special bedding details are specified or necessary
• Services from taps to cleanout
• Formwork prior to pouring concrete piers
• Air tests
• Mandrel tests ("go or no go")
• Visual inspection/video

Note: The visual inspection should not be called for unless all construction is completed and air tested including installation of all service taps, inverts constructed, etc.

• Boring and Jacking
• As-builts submitted and easements recorded
• Final inspection
