Conservation Residential Overlay District
The Conservation Residential Overlay District refers to land that the Southwest Area Plan designates as Conservation Residential - Low Density (LCR), Conservation Residential - Very Low Density (VLCR), and Rural.

The Conservation Residential Overlay District ordinance would implement Southwest Area Plan recommendations that include:
- Establishing density caps for the LCR, VLCR and Rural sub-districts
- Specifying requirements for preserving open space and historic resources
- Providing incentives for conservation and preservation of significant resource areas through innovative design
- Providing greater flexibility for rural landowners in determining the future use of their property
