We've provided two mapping systems for zoning information so you can choose which works best for you.

Maps in PDF format - These maps are quite large and will take a while to download. If you do not wish to wait, please contact the Planning Department at 469-4082 and a staff member will assist you.

Maps Online - Maps Online lets you type in an address or owner's name for zoning and other details about the property. Maps Online is especially useful if you don't know where on the grid map your property lies.

Directions for Maps Online

1. See the column labeled Layers on the left. Scroll to the bottom. Click the On and Label boxes next to Proposed Zoning (or click the On and Label boxes next to Zoning to see the current zoning.) Click the On box next to Proposed Overlay Districts.

2. Click Apply Changes at the top of the left-hand column.

3. Click the Search button (a red question mark inside a magnifying glass) at the top of the screen. Choose owner or address.

4. Click on the box and type in the property owner's name or address. Leave off the direction prefix and the street suffix. For example, if the address is 102 N. Main Street, type 102 Main, but leave off North and Street. Hit Search.

5. Click the Highlight symbol for the property you want to see. The property is outlined in red. Proposed zoning information will appear at the bottom of the right-hand column. To see more of the surrounding area, hit Zoom Out (a magnifying glass with a minus symbol).

Note: To learn the zoning of nearby property, hit the Identify button at the top of the screen (appears as the letter "i". When the identify box pops up, select Proposed Zoning and click OK. Click the cursor on the parcel you wish to learn about. The current and proposed zoning will appear at the top of the right-hand column.
