LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT

Analysis:

When the Land Use Plan was written in 1996, this property was owned by RDU Airport Authority and was designated as such on the Plan Map. Since that time, the Triangle Transit Authority has purchased the property for the regional bus maintenance facility. All privately held land in this area within Cary's planning jurisdiction is designated for Office/Industrial uses.

Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of the Land Use Plan Amendment from RDU International Airport to Office/Industrial.
