REQUEST: |
The applicant is requesting a minor special use for a manufactured home to be located in the R-40 zoning district. The UDO requirements allow manufactured homes provided the Zoning Board of Adjustment issues a minor special use permit. |

BACKGROUND: |
The property consists of 2.6 acres and will be used for manufactured homes. The property is surrounded by farmland, forestry and single family land uses. The manufactured home will be connected to a well and septic system approved by Wake County Health Department. A permanent enclosed foundation will be used for under-skirting. The comprehensive plan calls for low to medium density (LDR -1 to 3 and MDR - 3 to 8 units per acre). The property is served by Wake County Fire and EMS Two off-street parking spaces have been provided. |
