PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project provides for the relocation, lowering, encasement and other modifications of existing water lines within the Triangle Parkway corridor. The FY 2009 appropriation of $501,540 fully supports the project with no additional funding requests anticipated. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: The water utilities described within the noted geographic area are sited via a North Carolina Department of Transportation encroachment agreement with the Town of Cary. These water lines and their locations must be adjusted/modified before construction of the Triangle Parkway begins.
