PROJECT TITLE:   Carpenter Upchurch Road Water Line

FIRST YEAR ESTIMATED OPERATING COSTS:  None

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

 

The Carpenter Upchurch Road Water Line project provides for the installation of 6,200 linear feet of 12-inch water main along Carpenter Upchurch Road from High House Road to Green Hope School Road.  This project is growth-related and will increase the Town’s utility service area.  The FY 2009 appropriation of $920,000 fully supports this project with no additional funding requests anticipated.

 

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION:

This project provides a secondary feed and loop to the Carpenter Upchurch Road area resulting in service redundancy in the event of water line breaks or high fire fighting demand.
