C-Tran Fares Effective March 1, 2012

Door-to-Door

Tier One - Trips wholly within the 3/4 miles of the general public fixed routes is $2 per one-way trip during peak hours (6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday). Off peak (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) is $1 per one-way trip.

Tier Two - Trips that have either a destination or origin outside the 3/4 mile general public fixed route corridors are $4 per one-way trip during peak hours and $1 during off peak (see off peak hours above).

Tier Three - Senior citizen medical trips or disabled employment trips outside the Town limits to Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, and Apex are $6 per one-way trip. There are no discount fares for Tier III trips.

Children 12 & Under, Seniors 65 & Older with Current C-Tran ID: Free

One Way Trip: $1.00 – Pay on bus

1-Day Pass: $2.00 – Pay on bus
Valid only on date purchased, unlimited rides on all C-Tran routes.

5-Day Pass: $8.50 – Pay on bus
May be purchased in advance, unlimited rides on all C-Tran routes for 5 days after activation

31-Day Pass: $36.00 – Purchase at ticket outlets listed below
May be purchased in advance, unlimited rides on all C-Tran routes for 31 days after activation

Regional 1-Day Pass: $4.00 – Pay on bus
Valid only on date purchased, unlimited rides on C-Tran, TTA (non-Express), CAT, and DATA

Regional 5-Day & 31-Day Pass: Accepted for fare on C-Tran

Change returned as “Value Card” good toward next fare purchase

Fares are ½ price with appropriate disabled C-Tran ID or US Medicare Card
