Cary
citizens authorized $130 million in bonds for street improvements to
reduce congestion and $30 million in bonds for recreation facilities
in the April 2003 referendum.
Each year, the Town
Council evaluates project priorities and debt levels. The council decides
what portion, if any, of available bonds to sell and which projects
receive shares of the money. Bonds may be combined with other sources
of money. Project schedules are subject to change
