With Chair and Vice-Chair absent, unanimous consent by members present for Nathaniel Parker to serve as Chair.

Approval of the November 8, 2006 Meeting Minutes

Motion made by Ms. Oury, second by Mr. Harned to approve November’s minutes.

Discuss Town Center Review Commission Bylaws

Discussion about revised draft TCRC By-laws.  Mr. Nicholas informed the TCRC that the current draft reflects the changes discussed by the TCRC at the November 8 meeting.  He also noted that the Town Attorney’s Office reviewed the revisions proposed at the November meeting and recommended minor changes.

Commission members inquired as to whether additional information regarding the purpose/function of the TCRC can be added to the Town’s website.  Mr. Nicholas indicated that he would research the matter and report to the Commission at a future meeting.  

Motion by Ms. Oury, second by Mr. Redfoot to adopt the draft by-laws with the revisions discussed.  Motion carried 3 – 1 (Mr. Harned opposed). 

DISCUSSION – FUTURE WORK SESSION MEETING  

The Chairman received unanimous consent to discuss with staff the possibility of a future work session meeting focused on orientation of new and existing members.  Mr. Nicholas indicated that Planning Department staff would coordinate an orientation session for TCRC members in early 2007, and inquired as to potential topics to have presented and/or discussed.  Mr. Nicholas indicated that he will work with other staff to assemble and consolidate various documents pertaining to the TCRC and distribute this at the work session meeting.
