Motion to approve made by Ms. Oury, and second by Mr. Harned.  Minutes were approved by a vote of 4-0.

05-SP-013: Cary Chamber of Commerce

• Parking lot Revisions

The Commission voted to table the Cary Chamber of Commerce site at October 27^th meeting.  As a result, Ms. Oury made a motion to allow further discussion of the project.  

Motion was seconded by Ms. Commiskey 

The Commission voted unanimous approval, 4-0.

Tom Horstman addressed questions and concerns from Commission regarding stormwater.  

After further discussion, Ms. Hutcheson made a motion to recommend the plan move forward to Town Council for approval.

The motion was seconded by Ms. Oury. 

The Commission voted approval, 3-1.

Mr. Harned opposed the motion, stating that “the proposed stormwater improvements only provided treatment for new development, and did little to treat the stormwater for the existing development of the Chamber of Commerce.” Mr. Harned believes it is the responsibility of the committee to promote environmental improvement to existing as well as proposed development downtown.
