APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE  October 18, 2004 MEETING

Mathew Danielson made a motion to recommend approval of the minutes, William Lyke seconded and the Board approved unanimously 8-0.

REZONING FOR ACTION

REZONING PETITION CASE #04-REZ-10 Amberly Planned Development District (PDD) Amendment  

LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT:  # 04-LPA-09

Carla Sadtler made a motion to forward to Town Council with the exception of two land use plan amendments (MF-2 and note 10 of the NW Area Plan which addresses density). Christy Perrin seconded and the Board unanimously approved 8-0.

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

·  Proceed to the podium and state your name clearly.

·  Public testimony is limited to comments on new or substantially changed aspects of the request which have occurred following the public hearing held by the Town Council.

·  Be concise; avoid repetition; limit comments to five minutes or less, and designate a spokesperson for large groups.

·  Following your presentation, print your name on a form provided by the Board Secretary to ensure the official record reflects the correct information.

·  Provide the Board Secretary any documents or materials presented to the Board.

Christy Perrin made a motion to forward to Town Council for approval, seconded by William Lyke and the Board unanimously approved 8-0.

REZONING PETITION CASE # 04-REZ-13 Old Apex Road  

(No new or substantive changes since the Town Council Public Hearing)  

Lori Bush made a motion to forward to Town Council for approval, Christopher Brooks seconded and the Board unanimously approved 8-0.

Mathew Danielson made a motion to forward to Town Council for approval, seconded by Steven Goodridge and the Board unanimously approved 8-0.

REZONING PETITION CASE #04-REZ-15 Cary Park Planned Development District (PDD)

LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT: #04-LPA-12  

(No new or substantive changes since the Town Council Public Hearing)

Wally Dawson made a motion to forward to Town Council for approval,  Steven Goodridge seconded  and the Board approved by a vote of 7-1 (Carla Sadtler dissenting due to a possible increase in maximum density of homes in the Town Center tract).

LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT:  #04-LPA-11  

(No new or substantive changes since the Town Council Public Hearing)

Carla Sadtler made a motion to forward to Town Council for approval, Steven Goodridge seconded, and the Board tied 4-4. (Wally Dawson, Christopher Brooks, Lori Bush, and Mathew Danielson dissenting due to deviation from the Northwest Area Plan density and in support of Staff’s recommendation).
