19, 2004 MEETING

Goodridge made a motion to approve the minutes, which was
seconded by William Lyke and the Board voted unanimously

changed aspects of the request which have occurred
following the public hearing held by the Town Council.

record reflects the correct information.

Adoption of Vision Element of Comp Plan

Hearing Comments
Ervin
Portman made a motion to forward to the
June 10, 2004
Town Council meeting and adopt the vision element based on
staff’s recommendations and revise the language in T3 and
T6. Christy Perrin
seconded the motion. Three
amendments were added: a. Emphasis made in respect to air and
water quality. b.
Provide a effective mode of communication to include
citizens outside the
Cary
limits. c.
Town should seek input from community groups regarding
public meetings and the Board voted unanimously 9-0.

Matthew
Danielson made a
motion to remove this case from the table.
Steven Goodrige seconded the motion and the case was
removed from the table.
Carla Sadtler
then made a motion to forward this case to the June 10, 2004 Town
Council Meeting for approval as recommended by the staff with
the following additional conditions: Install a glare control
package on existing ball field lighting within the existing
Phase One area of the park.
William Lyke seconded the motion and the board voted
unanimously 9-0.
