Call to Order:

Approval of the minutes of the June 16, 2003 meeting.

Don Hyatt made a motion to approve the minutes, which was seconded by Christy Perrin, and the Board voted unanimously.

Item 3

Town Council Report

Town Council meetings of June 12, 2003, June 26, 2003 and July 10, 2003.

03-SP-039 Cary/ Winn Tower

Wally Dawson made a motion to forward to council for approval which was seconded by Don Hyatt and the Board voted unanimously.

B.

03-SP-019 Townes of Madison

Wally Dawson made a motion to forward to council for approval which was seconded by Christy Perrin and the Board voted unanimously.

C.

03-SP-65 Westbrook Building

Don Hyatt made a motion to forward to council for approval which was seconded by Steven Goodridge and the Board voted unanimously.

D.

03-SP-058 West Wake Cemetery

Paul Broderick made a motion to forward to council for approval which was seconded by Wally Dawson and the Board voted unanimously.

REZONINGS FOR ACTION:

03-REZ-01 Carrabba’s: Application by the John R. McAdams Co. for S.N.R Management Corp., owner, to rezone property to amend the rezoning conditions associated with a property zoned General Commercial-Conditional Use District (GC-CU). The request is to remove a zoning condition regarding a 75-foot building setback for this property. More details on the proposal can be obtained from the Cary Planning Department during regular business hours. The property contains 2.5 acres and is located on the northeastern corner of the intersection of Kildaire Farm Road and Wrenn Drive north of the Blockbuster Video Store. Said property is more particularly described as Wake County Pin number: 0763339791.

Mike Zaccardo requested to be excused from this case in voting due to personal interests involved with this case. Paul Broderick made a motion to excuse Mr. Zaccardo and Christy Perrin seconded the motion and the Board voted unanimously and Mr. Zaccardo was excused.

 

Wally Dawson made a motion to forward to council for approval which was seconded by Ervin Portman and the Board voted unanimously.
