Rezoning(s) for Action:

02-REZ-05 - Amberly PUD - Application by Jerry Turner and Associates, Inc., for the property owners: Amberly, LLC, B.F. McLeod, Jr., Oren F. Leblang and Victoria R. Schindler, to amend the conditions of the current Residential-40 Planned Unit Development zoning designation. The property contains 1,094.93 acres and is located south of O’Kelly Chapel Road, east of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property, north of New Hope Church Road, and west of Green Level to Durham Road and Yates Store Road. Mr. Portman made a motion to forward to Council for approval at their October 10, 2002 meeting based on staff’s recommendation that the applicant provide connectivity of access trails from residential areas to the Amberly Lake Trail, Morris Branch Greenway and Nancy Branch Greenway, which was seconded by Mr. Dawson, and the Board voted (10-0).
02-REZ-06 - Village at the Park - Application by Elam, Todd, d’Ambrosi, for the property owners: Betty Lou Ferrell, Harold Bagwell, and Rainmaker 55, LLC, to rezone property from Residential-40 and Planned Employment Center District to Residential-40 Planned Unit Development and Planned Employment Center Planned Unit Development. The property contains 77.75 acres and is located south of Wake Road, west of Highway 55 and Alston Avenue, and east of Alston Avenue. Mr. Dawson made a motion to forward to Council for approval at their October 10, 2002 meeting based on staff’s recommendation that the trails along Alston Avenue/Green Level to Durham Road and Highway 55 be multi-purpose trails versus greenways and provide additional linkages between internal pedestrian system and public multi-purpose trails, which was seconded by Mr. Hyatt, and the Board voted (10-0).
02-REZ-08  Stonewater PUD – Application by Jerry Turner and Associates, Inc., for the property owner, M.C. Fube, LLC, to rezone property from Rsidential-40 District to Residential-40 Planned Unit Development. The property contains 309.53 acres and is located east of the Amberly Planned Unit Development, north and south of O’Kelly Chapel Road and east and west of Alston Avenue. The Planning and Zoning Board and the applicant agreed to continue this PUD to the September 24, 2002 meeting.
