Introduction of Members:

Members present were Jo Rathgeber, Robert Keely, Kelly Commiskey, Dana Ellington, Jamie Cuticchia, and Michele Hillison.  Members Kirk Keller, Anne Fitzpatrick, John Fitzpatrick, and Eugene Murray were absent.

Council Member Julie Robison and staff member Susan Moran were present.

Approval of Minutes:

The board unanimously recommended approval of the March 4, 2004 minutes as written.

III.

Citizen Comments:

1. Member Dana Ellington mentioned that her postal service has declined in her neighborhood.  Member Michele Hillison also noted that she experienced similar problems.

IV.

Old/New Business:

1.     Susan Moran presented results of the 2004 Biennial Citizen Satisfaction Survey.  Members discussed at length the small but steady increase in viewing Council Meetings on Channel 11.  Members questioned the further use of the block leader program and 24-Hour Town Hall services since the board feels these are underutilized.  The board determined that even though grade of C was given for Cary 's communication efforts with citizens, it felt that the Town does a great job in this area.
