Approval of Minutes:

The board unanimously approved the minutes for the February 22, 2001 meeting as amended.

Two members of Scout Troop 210 were present with their fathers but made no comments.

ISAB members discussed citizen feedback about roadway signage especially on cross streets. New signage is good, more encouraged.

The board discussed an email they received from a citizen about some issues with the Town's website. Some of the problems were identified as not being able to find what you're looking for on the web through the search engine. The search engine would not locate specific items—open space plan, staff report about web issues updates. Search engine is fast, but not useful if you can't find what you're looking for. It was recommended the board invite Technology Services to next meeting in April to talk about search engine possibilities as well as an update on streaming audio.

The board discussed and recommended again to staff adding dates to the "What's New" index on the web.

To achieve goals, the board will attempt to address the following issues in this order: web items including search engine, audio update in April; written communications in May; GTV in June. For each issue, ISAB will discuss (1) what’s going well, (2) what needs improving, (3) what could be done that’s not being done—new innovations.

Staff should be sure to provide current sign in sheets at meetings.
