MINUTES

Thursday, January 25, 2000, 5:00 PM

I.

Introduction of members:

Members present were David Forvendel, Cliff Barnes, Sandy Gottlieb, Bob Hickey, Jeffrey Gillette, and Robert Keely.

Members absent were Jim Jensen, Jo Rathgeber, Geiselle Thompson, and Lester Thomas.

Staff present were Susan Moran and Roger May.

II

Approval of Minutes:

The board unanimously approved the minutes for the December 14th, 2000 meeting.

III.

Citizen Comments:

There were two citizens present, David Gerome and Mike Phillips of Anderson & Associates, Inc. were present to familiarize themselves with the work of the committee.

IV.

Old/New Business:

  1. Annual Report:

    Board members reviewed the Annual Report. Members touched on key points throughout the past year. It was recommended that the board members’ names be included in the report. In addition, the board recommended that the Town seal and web address be included in the report and directed staff to move the report to Council via its Operations Committee.
  2. CBG Website Support:
    3.

    The board discussed the CBG website. Members discussed the feasibility of the Town sponsoring or cosponsoring the website and decided not to move forward with any action at this time.
  3. Boards & Commissions Orientation:
    4.

    Will be held at the Bond Bark Senior Center on Wednesday, February 21, at 5:30PM.
  4. GIS Mapping:

The Board discussed the layout and content of the GIS website, emphasised that it is a work-in-progress and work needed to continue on it.

There were no member comments.

Adjournment:

The meeting adjourned at 6:15PM.

Next ISAB Meeting:

The next ISAB meeting will be the annual orientation session for boards on Wednesday, February 21st at 5:30PM at the Bond Park Senior Center; the ISAB will also meet regularly on Thursday, February 22, 2001 at 5:00PM in the Town Hall Front Conference Room.
