ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES:
PRE-APPLICATION
meeting is required before submittal of application.
APPLICATION SUBMITTAL DATE:
The final date for accepting applications.
Submittal requirements: twelve
(12)
copies of application, plans or sketches, and filing fee.
ADVERTISING:
A legal ad will be published two (2) times, with at least one ad appearing 10
days prior to the Board meeting.
NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS/POST PROPERTY:
Date of
mailing to adjacent property owners for notice of hearing and date the property
under review will be posted by Town of Cary staff.
MEETING DATE:
Cases and items on the agenda are presented to the Board of Adjustment on
this date. Applicants or their
agents are required to attend the meeting. The
meting is held at 7 p.m. in the Town
Council
Chambers located at 316
North Academy Street, Cary, NC.

After the Board of Adjustment meeting, each applicant is notified by mail of the
Board’s action with respect to their particular case. The official Board
minutes become a part of the Town’s permanent files for future reference.
