Ordinance and is hereby granted, subject to the following conditions:

was seconded by Mr. Cassell and the Board voted unanimously in favor of
the motion.

REQUEST: The applicant is requesting a variance to allow a
wall sign to exceed the maximum allowable square footage.
ACTION: Ms. Wayman moved that above application has failed to meet
the requirements of Section 6.1.5 of the Cary Zoning Ordinance and the
application is denied due to the following findings: The applicant is
requesting an unfair advantage over the other tenants of Mayfair Plaza.
Mr. Spencer seconded the motion and the motion passed on a vote of 8-2
with Mr. Dascombe and Mr. Rudisill casting the dissenting votes.

ACTION: Mr. Dascombe moved that the above application has

Ordinance and is hereby granted, subject to the following conditions:
Variance shall be transferable and run with the structure. Ms. Jordan
seconded the motion and the Board voted unanimously to approve the
motion.

REQUEST: The applicant is requesting a variance to encroach 11

ACTION: Mr. Cassell made a motion that above application has
successfully met the requirements of Section 6.1.5 of the Cary Zoning
Ordinance and is hereby granted, subject to the following conditions:
(1) Variance shall be transferable and run with the structure; (2)
Applicant places screening along full length of property line to meet
satisfaction of adjacent neighbor. Ms. Harris seconded the motion. The
motion failed on a vote of 5-5 with Dorrel, Dascombe, Spencer, Bartley
and Colvin casting the dissenting votes. The request was denied.
