    The meeting was called to order by Ms. Wayman at 7:50 PM.
  1. Action on Minutes from April 10, 2000 Meeting

    ACTION: A motion was made by Ms. Jordan and seconded by Mr. Bartley to approve the minutes as amended and submitted. The Board voted unanimously (8-0) in favor of the motion.
  1. Swearing In: The following individuals were sworn in to give testimony: Tracy Roberts, Matthew Griffin, Robert C. Hefter
  1. Case Hearings
  2. APPLICATION #: 00-05-V

    STAFF CONTACT: Matthew Griffin

    SUBJECT PROPERTY: 316 Glasgow Rd.

    APPLICANT(S): Robert C. Hefter

    REQUEST: The applicant, Robert C. Hefter, is requesting the variance to allow a proposed house addition to encroach 10-feet into a required 15-foot sideyard setback.

    ACTION: A motion was made by Ms. Jordan that application no. 00-05-V has successfully met the requirements of Section 6.1.5 of the Cary Zoning Ordinance and is hereby granted, subject to the following conditions: Variance shall be transferable and run with the land. Mr. Bartley seconded the motion and the Board voted unanimously (8-0) in favor.

  1. New Business

    Mr. Roberts reported that there will be a work session for the Board members prior to the June 12 Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting. The scheduled speaker is Rich Ducker of the Institute of Government.
  1. Adjournment

    There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
