Present: Mayor Ernie McAlister, Mayor Pro Tem Jack Smith, Council Members Marla Dorrel, Jennifer Robinson, and Nels Roseland; Julie Robison arrived late, and her arrival time is noted in the minutes

 

Absent: Council Member Mike Joyce

 

Mayor McAlister started the meeting at 8:36 a.m. He announced that he needs to leave the meeting at 11:30 a.m.

 

The subgroup provided comments about their work. (Refer to the subgroup minutes for details.)

 

Mrs. Robison arrived at 8:50 a.m.

 

The facilitator, Steve Straus stated this session will build a foundation, and the council will probably see more results at next week’s meeting. The council and facilitator discussed the format for the meeting.

 

After a short break, the meeting continued at 9:51 a.m. Mrs. Robison returned late from the break, and her arrival time is noted in the minutes.

 

The council focused their first exercise on roads and transportation. The results follow.
