Boards and Commissions Appreciation and Reception Cary Senior Center in Bond Park 120

Council Present: Mayor Ernest McAlister, Mayor Pro Tem Jack Smith, Council Members Marla Dorrel, Michael Joyce, Jennifer Robinson, and Julie Robison. Absent: Council Member Nels Roseland Town Council, board and commission members, guests, and staff began arriving at 5 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., Mayor McAlister welcomed everyone, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of all of the board and commission members and staff. After the welcome, each council member liaison provided brief comments regarding their respective boards or commissions, welcoming new and returning members and thanking outgoing members. Mrs. Robinson provided comments on behalf of Mr. Roseland for the Town Center Review Commission. Closing remarks were provided by Mayor McAlister. The reception ended at 6:30 p.m.
