Consideration of Appointments to the Technology Task Force
List of suggested appointees from Council Member Lori Bush for the Technology Task Force
Membership
· 1 member from ISAB
· 1 or more member(s) with professional experience in social media; mobile apps; advertising technology engagement, web, websites, video and new media.
· 1 or more member(s) with professional experience in open source; public/private partnerships; and/or security and infrastructure.
· 2 citizens-at-large w/consideration given to the SOG graduates.
Council member Bush added Ian Henshaw to her original list of recommendations with the following comments:
· I realize that brings us to 9 people, but while considering who might be the chair, I realize that a chair often has to remain the "facilitator" and not as much an active and engaged participant. (At least, that was the role I took during the last task force.)
· Also, I realize that my appointment list include many people who have never served on a Cary Board or commission before. Having Ian on the Task Force will add some "Cary Board experience" to this great group.
