Overview


Koka Booth DEdication Fireworks The Koka Booth Amphitheatre at Regency Park blends technology with nature, fitting a superior performing arts center in the midst of hardwoods and pines by Symphony Lake. The Town of Cary opened the amphitheater in summer 2001.

The N.C. Symphony performs its annual Summerfest series under the direction of Associate Conductor William Henry Curry.

The amphitheater architect was William Rawn Associates of Boston. SMG, a private facility management company with headquarters in Philadelphia, manages the amphitheater for the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources.

Parking

Ticket price includes convenient parking. Gates open at least an hour before show time.

Concessions

Jersey Mike sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, pizza, snacks, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, beer, wine, mixed drinks, soft drinks and water are available at each event. Patrons are also encouraged to visit Picnic in the Park at www.boothamphitheatre.com for pre-order dinner information. Pre-order dinners offer a variety of options ranging from summertime salads, appetizers and desserts.

Cameras/Recording Devices

Video and audio recording devices are prohibited. Non-professional cameras are allowed at Summerfest concerts and at other events with the artists' approval.

Curfew

Shows end by 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. The curfew is 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Weather Policy

Shows go on rain or shine, with appropriate procedures for severe weather.
