Cary is just over a two-hour drive from the North Carolina coast and within three hours of the mountains.

The town is adjacent to Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Amtrak provides daily passenger train service from the Cary Depot downtown. Cary is adjacent to Raleigh, the state capital. Downtown Durham and Chapel Hill are less than 25 miles away.
