Cary, NC – Take your Spring cleaning outside and volunteer for Cary’s 10th Annual Spring Litter Sweep on Saturday, April 14. Limited spots remain to tidy up a location in Cary at different times throughout the day. Register online here and join the Town at one of its existing sites, or gather a group and suggest a location in your own neighborhood by emailing sarah.justice@townofcary.org. Either way, the Town provides the tools and supplies needed. Volunteers 15 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Since Spruce was founded in 2009, Cary has hosted over 4,000 projects with the generous support of more than 25,000 volunteers that have collected almost 200,000 pounds of litter. For more information, visit Spruce at www.townofcary.org and follow Cary It Green on Facebook.
