Marvelous Music Mainstage Series: Le Cirque Esprit featuring cordis & ABCirque
Cary Arts Center, 7:30 p.m.
Fusing an original combination of custom-made and traditional instruments to create their signature sound, cordis borders on a rock aesthetic. Since the members were classically trained in chamber music, the resulting sound is more developed and cerebral. “Le Cirque Esprit” launches the music of cordis into a dynamic production that fuses their unique sounds with the breathtaking presence of ABCirque, a contemporary cirque from Brooklyn featuring acrobatics and aerialists. The result is a one-of-a-kind spectacle that consumes ground and air. For more, call (919) 462-2055 or visit Marvelous Music

Cary Arts Center, 3 p.m.
Once upon a time, there were three billy goats enjoying a game of hide-and-seek after school when a bully blocked the bridge—their way home—and took their doll. When two of the goats resolve to find a new route home, the smallest goat stands up to the bully to get her doll back and cross the bridge, and even makes a friend!
