Cary’s Marvelous Music Series Continues with Ten Strings And A Goat Skin

  • Advance tickets can be purchased in-person, online or over the phone. Tickets will be available at the door if the show does not sell out in advance.
  • Ten Strings And A Goat Skin is a Canadian folk music group from Prince Edward Island influenced by Celtic music from Scotland and Acadian roots, in English and French.

Cary, NC – Cary’s Marvelous Music Series continues in 2018 with a performance by Ten Strings And A Goat Skin, a Canadian folk music group influenced by Celtic music from Scotland and Acadian roots, in English and French. Tickets are now available for the show on Friday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center. This is the 18th annual Marvelous Music Series but the first performance by Ten Strings And A Goat Skin.

Individual tickets prices are adults $27, seniors (55+) $25, and Family & Friends Four-Pack tickets are $92.

  • in person at The Cary Theater, Tue-Fri: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sat.: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; and at the Cary Arts Center, Mon.: 4-8 p.m.

  • at the door the day of show, if not sold out

Upcoming performances include:

  • Opera Xpress presents “The Billy Goats Gruff” on March 4 at 3 p.m. This is an exciting, operatic version of the well-known story based on scenes from operas by Mozart, Donizetti, and Rossini.
  • The final event of the Marvelous Music Family series is April 21 at 10 a.m. with Atlantic Coast Theatre’s presents “Rockin’ Red Riding Hood,” an updated rock musical featuring the history of rock n’ roll creatively woven into the traditional story of Little Red, Jack Lumber, and the Big Bad Wolf.
