Cary’s Annual Share & Care Event Offers One-Stop Shopping for Persons with Disabilities & Their Caregivers
- Persons with disabilities, parents and care providers are invited to this free event on Friday, February 16 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Herb Young Community Center for resource sharing and networking.
- At least 50 community organizations and agencies that offer services for persons with disabilities will be on hand to share information about what they have to offer to the community.
- This is a drop-in event. Registration is encouraged but not required.
Cary, NC – See what Cary has to offer for persons with disabilities, parents and care providers at the Town’s free one-stop shop for resource sharing and networking on Friday, February 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Herbert C. Young Community Center. At least 50 organizations and agencies offering services for persons with disabilities will be on hand to share information about what they have to offer to the community at this fourth annual event. New this year, professionals will be on hand to offer financial advice, legal assistance, provide information on service dogs and more. This is a drop-in event. Service animals are permitted. Registration is encouraged but not required; walk-ins are welcome. Participants wishing to pre-register may register at any PRCR facility or online at classweb.townofcary.org using course code 111597.
