Friday, December 8

NC Chinese Lantern Festival
Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 6-10 p.m.
Come out to Koka Booth Amphitheater this holiday season and enjoy the magnificent light displays of the Chinese Lantern Festival! Venue food/beverage stands will be open selling holiday treats and beverages. Please note, the venue is not able to provide wheelchairs for patrons at this event. Ivey-Ellington House, 9-11 a.m.

Arbolito de la Esperanza-Tree of Hope Lighting
Herb Young Community Center, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Join Diamante, Inc. in the 13th annual Estrella de la Esperanza / Star of Hope campaign to celebrate Three Kings Day and support local families in need. The Arbolito de la Esperanza/Tree of Hope Lighting is the kick-off event for campaign.  The tree lighting is preceded by a traditional Latin celebration in which the public shares in a pot-luck dinner with holiday foods from around the Latin American world. All guests are encouraged to make Estrella donations and then place a star on the tree. Concert Singers of Cary presents Holiday Pops
Cary Arts Center, 3:00 p.m. | $25 Adults; $23 Seniors 60+

Friends of the Page-Walker Concert Series: Gregg Gelb Jazz Quintet
