$40,000 Now Available for Cary-Based Non-Profits Through Lazy Daze Grants

CARY, NC –From now until Friday, November 17, Cary-based non-profits may apply for $40,000 in grant money funded by the Town of Cary’s Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival. Qualifying organizations – those with a 501(c) 3 designation-- may submit an application for the grant describing a single project they wish to have funded. Priority is given to projects by cultural arts organizations; projects with a cultural arts focus; projects that support Town of Cary or downtown Cary initiatives; and other Cary-based, non-profit organization requests. Since the program’s inception in 1977, over $650,000 has been returned to the  community. Notification of grant awards will begin in January 2018.
