Friday, October 13

USTA/ITA Regionals
Cary Tennis Park, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
ITA Regionals brings top men’s and women’s players from across the country to compete against each other.  Cary Tennis Park is proud to once again host this great event.  You may even catch the top ACC players competing!  You won’t want to miss out on this great opportunity to see high quality tennis! Tennis on Campus Fall Invitational
Cary Tennis Park, 5-9 p.m.
Come watch as Tennis on Campus teams come to compete at Cary Tennis Park.  Tennis on Campus showcases high quality tennis in a fun environment!  There are 42,000 students from 700 different colleges across the country participating in this great tennis league.  Come see the action! Music @ The Cary: Six String Presents: Songwriters in the Round

Cary Downtown Farmers Market
Ivey-Ellington House, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Locally grown food and locally made products at your community gathering place for everything local! Open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Ivey-Ellington house on 135 W. Chatham Street. Cary Diwali *NR*
Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. | Free
The 17th annual Cary Diwali celebrates Anubhuti: A Sensory Experience, and will include music, dance, and theater performances, a handicraft bazaar, Indian food vendors, sponsor booths, an exhibition of Indian art and culture, activities for children, yoga demonstrations, and so much more! The event is capped off by a fireworks show over Symphony Lake. Co-sponsored by Hum Sub, Inc. and Town of Cary. For more visit Cary Diwali.

22ND Annual Latino Diamante Awards
Cary Arts Center, 6-11 p.m.
The Awards show ceremony showcases the culture and heritage of the people of Mexico, Central America, South America, Spanish-speaking Caribbean and Spain. The Latino Diamante Awards recognizes in the areas of education, health, economic development, community volunteerism, cultural enrichment, advocacy and youth leadership.
