Early Voting Begins at Herb Young Community Center Oct. 4

  • The Town of Cary’s Herb Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave., will serve as an early voting site for the October 10 election.
  • Early voting will occur October 4-6 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and October 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Cary residents living in Chatham County wanting to vote early must go to the Chatham County Board of Elections Office in Pittsboro.

Cary, NC – The Town of Cary’s Herb Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Avenue, will serve as an early voting site for the October 10 election; in Cary, District A, District C and one At-Large seat are on the ballot. Early voting will occur at HYCC on October 4-6 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and October 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Citizens also can vote early at the Wake County Board of Elections, 337 S. Salisbury St. Cary citizens living in Chatham County wanting to vote early for Town of Cary municipal seats must go to the Chatham County Board of Elections office in Pittsboro, 984-D Thompson St. For more information, visit the Wake or Chatham County Board of Election websites.

Registered voters who choose not to vote early can vote at their local precinct on Election Day. Election results will be streamed live on Cary TV beginning at 7:30 p.m. on October 10 as votes are tabulated by the Wake County Board of Elections.
