- Interviews in October, candidates recommended in November, term starts in December.
Cary, N.C. – From now through 5 p.m. on October 6, the Town of Cary is seeking citizens to serve on its Athletics Committee, Greenways Committee and Cultural Arts Committee. The three committees work with the Town’s Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board and the Transportation and Facilities Department to advise Town Council and staff on broad areas related to planning for parks, facilities and overall policies and procedures. Committee members serve a three-year term, attend at least one monthly meeting and participate in select special events. The Town will invite applicants for interviews in October, recommend candidates for approval at the November PRCR Board meeting and welcome new volunteers to participate in their first meeting in December.
