Friday, July 14

JTT States
Cary Tennis Park, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
The Junior Team Tennis State Championship hosts local league winners from all across North Carolina.  JTT teams will compete for the title of State Champion. USA Baseball 14U Cup
USA Baseball National Training Complex, All day

Pedal Boats and Soda Floats

If your family enjoys ice-cream, soda and time together in fresh air, this is the event for you. Start out at our build-your-own soda float buffet, before heading out on the lake for an after-hours family pedal boat ride. Preregistration is required. North Carolina Football Club U23 PDL Match (vs Charlotte Eagles)
WakeMed Soccer Park, 7-9 p.m.
North Carolina FC’s Under 23 team joined the Premier Development League (PDL) starting this season, bolstering a South Atlantic Division that now houses seven teams based in the Carolinas. With the move to PDL, the U23 team is set to renew rivalries with several North and South Carolina foes, including the Carolina Dynamo, Myrtle Beach Mutiny, Charlotte Eagles, Wilmington Hammerheads and Tobacco Road FC. Music @ The Cary: Jack Williams and Still on the Hill presented by Six String
The Cary Theater, 8 p.m.
Jack Williams is considered a “musician’s musician”, an uncommonly unique guitarist, a writer of vivid songs with a strong sense of place and a storyteller in an old Southern tradition who further illustrates each tale with his guitar.  The musicians which comprise Still on the Hill have grafted the wild climbing vines of bluegrass, folk, classical and mountain music onto the hardiest of Ozark rootstock.
