Friday, June 16

Southern Closed Boys & Girls 12s Tennis Championships
Cary Tennis Park & Godbold Park, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Showcasing the top players in the entire USTA Southern Region, this is event is one you won’t want to miss! Local players will be competing along with players coming from eight surrounding states. For more, visit Cary Tennis Park or call (919) 462-2061.

NC Junior Team Tennis Regional Championship
Cary Tennis Park, 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
Junior Team Tennis (JTT) teams will be competing in this fun Championship for kids 8-18! Come watch as juniors play great tennis in a fun, team environment. For more, visit Cary Tennis Park or call (919) 462-2061.

Movies by Moonlight:  The Secret Life of Pets
Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8:30 p.m.
For a mere $5 (kids 12 and under are free), patrons can bring a blanket or chair as the spacious lawn at Booth Amphitheatre is transformed in to an outdoor movie theatre. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the WakeMed Children’s Hospital. Movie starts at dusk (approximately 8:30pm) and the gates open at 7 p.m. No pets are allowed; patrons are allowed to bring in picnics (including beer and wine) on these special family nights. Annual Yard Sale
Cary Senior Center, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Come shop the Annual Senior Center Yard Sale and find a few hidden treasures to take home. You will find kitchenware, antiques, collectibles, electronics, clothing, outdoor items, furniture and more. NC Symphony Summerfest 2017: An Evening in France
Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 7:30 p.m.; Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
French music and cuisine come together as we celebrate the Triangle’s sister cities, Le Touquet and Compiegne. Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2 and the Bacchanale from Sampson and Delilah will dazzle you, and works by Impressionist composers Ravel and Debussy— including the ravishing Claire de Lune— create an evocative, magical atmosphere. North Carolina Courage Vs. Boston Breakers
Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park, 7:30 p.m.
Come cheer on NC Courage as they battle the Boston Breakers! The North Carolina Courage is a professional women's soccer team based in Cary, North Carolina.
