Traffic Schedule 9: Prohibited parking – certain hours

Town Code Reference: Sec. 34‑108. Parking prohibited in designated places – during certain hours.

A

The east and west sides of North Academy Street between Chapel Hill Road and Boyd Street, weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

B

Benwell Court on Monday through Friday between the hours of 2:30 4:30 p.m.

The north side of Boyd Street from its intersection with North Academy Street to its intersection with Ferrell Street, weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The north side of Byrum Street between South Walker Street and Kildaire Farm Road, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except Saturday and Sunday.

The north side of Byrum Street between South Walker Street and Kildaire Farm Rd. during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except Saturday and Sunday.

The south side of Byrum Street from Kildaire Farm Road to a point 140 feet east of Kildaire Farm Road between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except Saturday and Sunday.

The south side of Byrum Street from Kildaire Farm Road to a point 140 feet East of Kildaire Farm Road between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except Saturday and Sunday

The east side of Castalia Drive from its intersection with High House Road to its intersection with Painted Fall Way on Sundays between the hours of 6 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The north side of Castalia Drive from its intersection with Olde Weatherstone Way to its intersection with Ozone Court, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Both sides of East Cornwall Road from Ellynn Drive to Kathryn Street, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This section shall not apply to any vehicle displaying a decal approved by the town identifying such vehicle as a Tanglewood resident. Each neighborhood household is authorized to park up to three vehicles on the street during the hours of general prohibition. The cost of the decals will be the responsibility of the residents.

East Cornwall Road, the north side of the street, from a point 300 feet west from Tanglewood Drive to Ellynn Drive, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The south side of East Cornwall Road from Tanglewood Drive west to Ellynn Drive between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Both sides of Ellynn Drive from Ralph Drive to Greenwood Drive, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This section shall not apply to any vehicle displaying a decal approved by the town identifying such vehicle as a Tanglewood resident. Each neighborhood household is authorized to park up to three vehicles on the street during the hours of general prohibition. The cost of the decals will be the responsibility of the residents.

Hampton Valley Road, on the east side from its intersection with S.E. Maynard Road to its intersection with Willowbrook Drive, Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The east side of Hampton Valley Road from a point 150 feet north of its intersection with Cary Parkway to its intersection with Farmington Woods Drive from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The north side of East Johnson Street from its intersection with North Academy Street, east for a distance of 600 feet, weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The east and west sides of MacKenan Dr. from its intersection with Gregson Dr. to its intersection with Old Raleigh Rd., weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

O

The east and west side of Olde Weatherstone Way from its intersection with Castalia Drive northward to its dead end, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Both sides of Tanglewood Drive from Walnut Street to Elm Street, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for the part of the street 219 feet north of East Cornwall to 153 feet north of East Cornwall which is posted no parking anytime.

No parking on the south side of Turner Creek Road from Amiable Loop to the Turner Creek Elementary School Driveway, and the north side of Turner Creek Road from Alliance Circle eastward for a distance of 900’, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This section shall not apply to any vehicle displaying a decal approved by the town identifying such vehicle as a Tanglewood Resident.
