Ticket and Fare Information
Please have exact fare ready when boarding the bus; drivers cannot make change.
Door-to-Door
Tier One - Trips wholly within the 3/4 miles of the general public fixed routes is $2 per one-way trip during peak hours (6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday). Off peak (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) is $1 per one-way trip.
Tier Two - Trips that have either a destination or origin outside the 3/4 mile general public fixed route corridors are $4 per one-way trip during peak hours and $1 during off peak (see off peak hours above).
Tier Three - Senior citizen medical trips or disabled employment trips outside the Town limits to Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, and Apex are $6 per one-way trip. There are no discount fares for Tier III trips.
Fixed Routes
Cash fare, One-way - $1
* Special rate: seniors age 60 or older and disabled persons pay 50 cents between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.; all other times $1
* Any passenger that shows the driver a Medicare ID card can ride the fixed routes at $.50 during off-peak hours.
* Children age 6 or younger ride free
Monthly Pass, Unlimited Rides - $30
11-Day Pass - $8
TTA Monthly Pass accepted as C-Tran fare - Free
Transfers between C-Tran routes - Free
*Note: Transfers are issued free to any fare paying passenger who needs to take a second bus route to reach a destination. Transfers will not be issued to ride back to the original boarding point or to make a second trip. Transfers are only good on the next connecting bus route at authorized transfer points.
