Who We Are

The Planning Department has two main work teams for “long-range” and “current” planning functions. The administrative support team provides budgeting, personnel, clerical assistance, and mapping to both groups and to appointed boards and commissions.

Current Planning

• Land Development Ordinance (LDO), which sets forth zoning regulations
• Rezoning and planned unit developments (PUDs), annexation, subdivision and site plans
• Urban design and appearance requirements
• Variances and appeals in conjunction with the Board of Adjustment
• Uniform sign plans and sign/temporary use permits
• Zoning enforcement and inspections
