2013 Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with the Bunny

Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. Rain date: Sunday, March 24, afternoon only




Breakfast with the Bunny
Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Kiwanis Shelter , 8:30-9:30 a.m.

**March 22, 2013: Due to below average temperatures Breakfast with the Bunny will be moved inside to the Cary Senior Center. Start time is 8:30 a.m.  The annual Egg Hunt will be held as scheduled. 



Before heading out to Cary’s annual Easter egg hunt, enjoy a delicious continental breakfast hosted by the Cary Teen Council. Muffins, donuts, fresh fruit and more will be served. The Easter Bunny himself will be available for pictures and videos!

You must purchase a ticket before the event to attend – no tickets will be sold the morning of the breakfast. Tickets will go on sale Monday, February 18 at the Herb Young Community Center:

Age 10 and older - $4 per person
Youth ages 3-9 - $3 per person
Children age 2 and younger, free (pick up an “Eat Free Pass” when you purchase your tickets)

This is a Cary Teen Council Fundraiser- registration fee made payable directly to Cary Teen Council, account credits cannot be used to register for this event!  For more, call (919) 460-4965

Rain Plan:  In the event of inclement weather the Breakfast with the Bunny will be moved inside to the Cary Senior Center Ballroom.

Easter Egg Hunt
Children ages 10 and younger are invited to participate in the Town of Cary's 22nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt features three hunt areas, each for a different age group. Bring your own basket and come early for good parking!

Morning Hunt 
    Age 3 and younger, 10 a.m. at Field #1 
    Ages 4-6, 10:20 a.m. at Field #2 
    Ages 7-10, 10:40 a.m. at Field #3

Afternoon Hunt
    
Age 3 and younger, 1:30 p.m. at Field #1 
    Ages 4-6, 1:50 p.m. at Field #2 
    Ages 7-10, 2:10 p.m. at Field #3

Entertainment
Before and during the hunts, the entire family can enjoy the ongoing entertainment located in the parking lot of the Kiwanis Shelter. There will be cotton candy, hotdogs, Cary Police and Fire, and inflatable rooms to bounce around. After the morning and afternoon hunts, join Magic Shaun at the Sertoma Amphitheatre for a wonderfully entertaining show loaded with laughs and audience participation.

2nd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza

A special hunt for special needs

Thursday, March 28 from 6-8 p.m.
Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Field #4

Children 12 years of age and younger with special needs, developmental and/or physical disabilities, are invited to a very special egg hunt.  Bring a buddy to help if needed.  Enjoy fun activities and entertainment after the hunt.  Bring your Easter basket, meet the Easter Bunny and get ready to scout the field for lots of colorful eggs.  Registration is encouraged.  The event is 6-8 p.m. please note the actual hunt start times below.

Egg Hunt Schedule
