Concert Singers of Cary
The Chamber Choir of the Concert Singers of Cary will present a concert of African-American music that features music from the past and present of African and African-American musical tradition as well as its relevance to historic events on both continents.

Mike Wiley - One Noble Journey
Actor and writer Mike Wiley will present a one-man dramatic presentation based on the miraculous true lives of three slaves who overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to gain a life free of Southern shackles. In One Noble Journey, he portrays Henry “Box” Brown who ships himself to freedom, Ellen Craft, William Craft, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and many others.
