2015 Starlight Concert Series
The Starlight Concert Series is a lively series of free concerts that takes place in the beautiful gardens of the Page-Walker Arts & History Center on the fourth Friday of the month, May - September. Bring your friends and a picnic and enjoy music by starlight. Co-sponsored by the Town of Cary, Friends of Page-Walker and the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music. Polka Plus Band (Special 20th Anniversary Concert)

Yankovic Day brings polka fans together to hear music of the late Frankie Yankovic. 2015 is the 20th annual concert performed by the band. Mr. Yankovic performed with the band in 1997. It is the spirit of keeping his music alive for the younger generation that the band performs each year.

Page-Walker kicks off the Starlight Concert season with Barrowburn, a band that demonstrates their love for Celtic music from an American perspective. These guys are equally at home ripping through jigs or reels as they are rendering a beautiful slow air or lament. Barrowburn performs both classic and contemporary ballads from the Celtic tradition as well as lively Iris pub songs and shanties. www.barrowburn.net.
Bluegrass with PineCone

Sponsored by the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music (PineCone), enjoy Bluegrass and Americana music with Pattie Hopkins, Lynda Dawson, and Charles Pettee. Arrive early to hear the students of the Bluegrass Camp at the Page-Walker show off their skills in a performance at 6 p.m. www.pinecone.org.
