Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Sponsorship Study
Overview
The Town of Cary is conducting a comprehensive study to evaluate potential opportunities for sponsorships.
The study will examine the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources department’s sponsorship history and offer recommendations for a sponsorship policy and implementation plan. Included in the sponsorship study will be a comprehensive list of services, events, special facilities and programs; methods of assessing the value of sponsorships; and suggested practices to help the department solicit sponsorships.
Details
The Town has contracted with Kelly MarCom, Inc to conduct the sponsorship study. With input from the Town’s sponsorship work team and Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources staff, the consultant will:
- Develop sponsorship program structure and policy development
- Develop department-wide sponsorship plan including formalized goals and established targets
- Develop a sponsorship implementation plan
The Town has budgeted $20,000 for the sponsorship study. The study is expected to be complete in late April 2007.
