Meet Cary native Chris Doyle, a pro BMX rider.

Sk-8 Cary offers individual sessions for inline skaters, skateboarders, and bikers, plus a pro shop and concessions. The design of the course allows a safe experience for novice skaters while giving more advanced skaters the challenge they have been looking for.

The park is managed by the Town of Cary, which provides instructional programs for young or inexperienced skaters and bikers. Skate and BMX bike contests are held in the spring and fall.

  • 12,000 square-foot outdoor street course made up of rails, banks, grind ledges, quarter-pipes and half-pipes from 3 to 9 feet tall
  • Ramps of wood and Skatelite Pro surface
  • Amenities include pro shop, concession area with vending machines, restrooms, and covered viewing area

Safety TipEquipment Requirements
Protective gear is required for all participants. Gear is available for rental at the pro shop.

Skateboarders: Helmet, knee pads, elbow pads required.
In-line skaters: Helmet, knee pads, wrist guards required.
Bikers: Helmet, knee guards required.
