Middle Creek School Park is located adjacent to Middle Creek High School in south Cary on 105 acres of land.  Park visitors may play on large multi-purpose athletic fields, enjoy a round of disc golf, walk the scenic trails, or reserve the picnic shelter for a family outing.  Adjacent to the shelter is a playground and open lawn.

  • 4 baseball/softball fields (lighted) with restrooms
  • 2 multi-purpose fields (lighted) with restrooms
  • 8 tennis courts (lighted) with restrooms
  • 2 Basketball Courts
  • Picnic Shelter
  • 0.50 miles of paved trail around softball fields
  • 0.33 miles of paved trail around multi-purpose fields
  • Play area with adjacent open lawn area
  • 18 Hole Disc Golf Course
  • Middle Creek Community Center

Disc Golf Course:

From wide open fairway shots, to mounded basket locations, to elevated tees, to tight woodland fairways, the 18-hole Middle Creek Disc Golf course features a variety of challenges for players of all abilities.  Initial tee locations will be temporary so they can be adjusted based on participant feedback.  Scorecards are available at the first tee.

Park Hours of Operation:
 
Sunrise to Sunset.  In lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the approved activity.

Park Rules and Regulations:

  • NO PETS ALLOWED IN SOFTBALL/BASEBALL COMPLEX OR ON MULTI-PURPOSE FIELDS
  • All pets outside the softball/baseball complex and multi-purpose fields must be kept on leash at all times
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc. are prohibited inside the softball/baseball complex
  • Parking in designated areas only.
  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
  • Damage to pants and turf is prohibited.
  • Open fires are prohibited.
  • Weapons of any kind are prohibited.
  • Injuring or endangering wildlife is prohibited.
  • Violations of any of the above shall be a misdemeanor as provided by NCGS 14-4.

From Interstate 40, US 1 South, 64 West from Raleigh: Take Exit 293A.  Travel towards Sanford. Travel 6.1 miles and take Exit 96 Ten-Ten Rd. Make a right at the top of the exit ramp and travel 5 miles. At the fifth stop light, make a right onto West Lake Rd. Travel 1.2 miles and make a right onto Middle Creek Park Ave. Turn left at sign that reads 151 Middle Creek

From US 1 North from Sanford: Take Exit 96 Ten-Ten Rd. Make a left at the top of the exit ramp and travel 5 miles. At the fifth stop light, make a right onto West Lake Rd. Travel 1.2 miles and make a right onto Middle Creek Park Ave. Turn left at sign that reads 151 Middle Creek.

From Highway 64 East towards Raleigh: Take Exit for US 1 south towards Sanford.Travel approximately one mile and take Exit 96 Ten-Ten Road. Make a right at the top of the exit ramp and travel 5 miles. At the fifth stop light make a right onto West Lake Road. Travel 1.2 miles and make a right onto Middle Creek Park Ave. Turn left at sign that reads 151 Middle Creek.
