CAROLINA RAILHAWKS TO PLAY LA GALAXY

A 3-1 defeat over the Carolina Dynamo on Tuesday, May 22 earned the Carolina Railhawks a spot in the Third Round of the US Open cup and a matchup against the LA Galaxy.  The Railhawks will host the Galaxy on May 29 at 7p.m.  Visit www.carolinarailhawks.com for more information and to purchase tickets.
 

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN


Summer sports camp registration is now open.  Half day camps are offered in soccer, lacrosse and running camps are being offered.  Now for this year - soccer and lacrosse camps are also available at Mills Park and Middle Creek Park. 

CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE FOR STADIUM IMPROVEMENTS

Stadium improvements give the facility a facelift with new seating, team facilities, sky boxes and concession stands. These improvements are part of the overall WakeMed Soccer Park Master Plan. Find out more at the project page. A dedication and ribbon cutting for the new facilities will take place prior to the RailHawks home opener on Saturday, April 13.


WAKEMED CROSS COUNTRY COURSE IS A GREAT PLACE FOR YOUR CHARITY 5K RUN/WALK


More and more charity 5K run/walk events are discovering the convenience of utilizing the WakeMed Cross Country Course to host their fundraisers.  A beautiful course tucked in the woods surrounding the soccer fields, fully contained environment and other amenities including preset courses, restroom facilities, ample parking and a natural unpaved surface provide a great environment for these events.  For more information on renting the course, please contact the staff at WakeMed Soccer Park.  Click here for a complete list of current events schedules.

NCAA COLLEGE CUP RETURNS!


The NCAA recently announced the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer College Cup will return to Cary for a record sixth time in 2013. Partnering with the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau, Capital Area Soccer League and Campbell University, the Town is excited for the opportunity to bring the women's college soccer national championship back to the area.  The Women's College Cup was previously held in Cary in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010.  For more.
