NCAA Division II Baseball Championship Returns to the NTC!
The Town of Cary is proud to host the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship for the 4th straight year in 2012. Mount Olive College continues to serve as the host institution for the Championship. USA Baseball and the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau are key partners in making the Championship a success. The Championship consists of the top eight Division II teams advancing from their respected regions, playing 12-15 games over an 8 day period to crown the NCAA DII Baseball Champion. “Town of Cary citizens have continued to embrace this championship with an increase in attendance each year,” said Chris Duty, facility supervisor at the NTC.
Tickets are a great value, allowing spectators to watch two games each day, and can be purchased as a tournament package or daily. Daily promotions -- including dollar drink and hotdog day, mini-bat giveaway, USA Baseball Cap Day, and Family Fun Day -- are a big hit with fans. Tickets for the 2012 NCAA Division II Championship will go on sale March 1, 2012. Purchase your tickets prior to May 15 at a 60% discount. We hope to see you and your family at the NTC.

The USA Baseball Team Store will be open throughout 2012 du
ring events at the National Training Complex. The store carries the country’s largest selection of USA Baseball apparel from official licensees Majestic Athletic, New Era Cap Company and Nike and features authentic National Team issued apparel including batting gloves and wristbands, caps and jerseys. Items include the Majestic Athletic FireFist performance polo shirt and the Crusader V-Neck shirt. Fans can also look for a new selection of authentic USA Baseball game-used equipment and collectibles when the store reopens in the spring.
