Billy Dexter

A master of wheels, Billy began riding bikes seriously at the age of 12.  BMX has taken Billy to all 50 states and to international competitions in London, England and Vancouver, Canada.  Billy has worked with children instructing extreme sports both before and after his professional career.  He used his knowledge of BMX and extreme sports to start building parks in 2000 and has been working at Sk8-Cary since 2005.  Billy has seen Sk8-Cary grow from the ground up and loves watching kids and adults learn and progress at the park.


Sarah Ambrose

Sarah has been working with children and camps since 2001. While conducting and facilitating soccer camps for children of all ages, Sarah played collegiate soccer at Tiffin University for 2 years before graduating from Ohio State University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration. Sarah started working with the Town of Cary in 2008 at WakeMed Soccer Park, In 2009, she obtained the Recreation Program Assistant position at Sk8-Cary where she plans to create new and fun programs for skateboarders and bikers of all ages.

Jordan Carlson
Skateboarding
Jordan has over 20 years of skating experience and 10 years of instructing. Two years snowboarding instruction in Beaver Creek, Colorado with children, teens, and adults. Jordan knows an extremely wide variety of tricks. Works best with beginner and intermediate skaters. A parent himself, Jordan is great working with children and can really connect with them during instruction.

Denny Guenthner
Skateboarding
Denny was a skateboarding instructor with Vans for 1 year and currently 3 years with Sk8-Cary. As a father of a young skateboarder he provides a fun, safe and positive experience while working with all ages and skill levels. Specializes in transition, ramp, vertical and pool skateboarding. His 24 years of experience includes Vans Warped Tour demos, Vans Skate park vert ramp demos and Red Bull/Scion/ECSC vertical demos as well as many contests dating back to the late 80's. Denny has had multiple sponsors and appeared in magazines including Juice and Concrete Wave. Founder of Coalition Skateboards.

David Stroud
BMX
David is a former professional BMX rider. Over 17 years experience with 5 years instruction at Sk8-Cary. Has competed in contests anywhere from Wilmington, NC, Los Angeles,CA, to Cologne, Germany. Has over 7 former sponsors. Possesses significant knowledge in the BMX world from bike maintenance to tips on getting sponsored. Having grown up surrounded by BMX, David knows what it takes for a rider to reach the next level and can help people get the most out of each ride. David loves to share his BMX knowledge with all abilities and ages.

Ryan Timms
Inline Skating
Ryan Timms is a seasoned skater and has been doing it for about a decade, not to mention his experience as a counselor at Camp Woodward and Sk8-Cary. He has been sponsored by Rollerwarehouse for over a year and has numerous other sponsors, including Razors. Ryan grew up skating park but he loves to skate street as well. He works great with beginners just starting out and can also teach the most technical grinds to advanced skaters.
